How we think about sustainability

The Maldives faces an existential threat from sea-level rise. International tourism is also the country's largest source of foreign currency. We don't pretend those are easy to reconcile. What we do: prioritise properties with measurable water/energy/waste programmes, run a 50/50 mix of guesthouse and resort bookings so income stays distributed, and offset our internal flights through Atmosfair.
